Julia (pronouns: they/them) believes in leveraging the unique strengths of organizational partners to achieve their goals of real equity and full inclusion for their members and the people they serve. Whether through  inclusive climate assessments or evidence based trainings, they are passionate about partnering with providers, administrators, and educators to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to achieve fully inclusive healthcare and educational encounters with the people they serve. Drawing on over ten years of experience in the sector and extensive training in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, Julia works to provide each and every one of our clients with the most effective, tailored, and evidence-based evaluations, trainings, and interventions possible.

Julia holds a PhD in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Julia’s work focuses on advancing health equity for marginalized populations, with a particular focus on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) populations. Prior to pursuing their doctorate, Julia was a research associate at JSI Research and Training Institute. They were also the founder and director of Ecuasana, a health nonprofit that supported community-led health initiatives in rural communities in Ecuador.
